The program prepares the student to handle various stages in Software Testing life cycle including Planning, Execution and Documentation stages. Students learn to develop formal test strategies, test plans and test cases. Also execute test plans, test cases, test steps and log issues in a defect tracking tool and generate reports using manual testing techniques and automated testing. This program qualifies graduates for careers such as Software Testing Analyst, Software Quality Analyst and Software Automation Tester

Student seeking admission into this program should at a minimum hold an Ontario Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering or Science or Ontario equivalent coupled with 1 year of functional experience or a Master Degree in Business, Accounting, Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
